Our First Home 🏡

Mommy, Nanay, Mom, Ma, Nana, Okaasan, Madre, Mamai…there’s a lot of names we call our Mothers. For me, I call my mother as “Mama.”

Most of the people on this planet will claim that they have a great mom. That their mother is the best mother in the world. I will definitely agree that all moms are the best in terms of caring and loving their children.

My parents are not perfect, so am I. But I love them. We are not showy  and touchy but we know deep inside we love each other. Even though we don’t see each other often due to distance. For sure, we all miss each other and looking forward to the time we will all be reunited.

I love my mother, I have a memory of my youth that I’m longing for her touch. Her hugs keep me secure when I feel weary. It’s so natural to long for a mom’s embrace, simply because she kept us inside her womb for 9 full months. She kept us safe and sound. Our mother shared her food, emotion, joy, pain even tears with us. All of us should honor our mothers because their womb was our first home before we were born into this world.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms in the world! ❤️❤️❤️

Psalm 139:13

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
