One of my favorite quotations is, “laughter is the best medicine.” I believe most of us heard this before.
In line with this, one of the best movie of all time is, “The Bucket List” starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. If you haven’t watched this, I encourage you to make time for it.
One of the items on their bucket list is “laugh until you cry out.” And they achieved their goal by drinking “kopi luwak”. It’s one of the most expensive kind of coffee in the world. Maybe some of you are wondering why it is so expensive, because of the natural process the coffee beans has to go through which came from part-digested coffee cherries eaten by a cat. (You can start to do your imagination now) 😆
I will not tell the whole story of this great movie, instead I highly recommend that you watch it if you haven’t, but I will share you mine.
I love talking to my wife, especially our conversations over a cup of coffee in the morning. She always makes me laugh, I laugh sometimes until my eyes sweat. Real men don’t cry, our eyes just sweat, right? 😂😅
My point here is this. I’m blessed for having my wife, simply because I don’t need to include it in my personal bucket list the “laugh until you cry.” Because I have the privilege to do this everyday with my best friend, and that’s my wife.
Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Question: When is the last time you had a good laugh, that the happiness overflowed into tears of joy? Do you have a personal bucket list that you want to share or pray about? Please share thoughts and comments below.
