LSS (last song syndrome) I just heard the song “I Have Nothing” by the great late Ms. Whitney Houston. This song is both powerful and meaningful at the same time. While hearing the lyrics of the song, I felt the longing and great love of a woman for her man. The end chorus says, “I have nothing, nothing, nothing. If I don’t have you.” Yes, that’s the right note keep on going! 🎤🎼🎹
Ok, back to my blog… Whenever my wife and I have a conversation especially on a bad weather (husbands, you know what I mean by bad weather right!?). Sample conversation below.
Husband: Are you okay?
Wife: …I’m okay.
Husband: Are you sure you’re okay? I’m sensing that you want to say something.
Wife: No, it’s nothing.
Wife: Really, it’s nothing…
Nothing, what a powerful word. It is “nothing” but you can sense there’s a lot of energy when your wife is saying it to you. I don’t know if it’s a talent or it’s one of the mysteries of being a woman.
I love my wife so much, honestly I’m not here right now if not because of my wife. Not like in the woman of the song “I Have Nothing,” my wife will not beg me to stay. On the contrary, even she doesn’t ask for it I will stay with her no matter what. Whether she changes her colors, she closes the door or breaks the wall, even though she runs, I will definitely chase her.
Second to God I really have nothing if I don’t have the love and support of my wife.
But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,
Question: What do you consider in your life that if you don’t have it, you are nothing? Please share your thoughts and comments below. Thanks.
