SSDD

When meeting people common greetings range from Hi, Hello, How are you? And so on and so forth…

But what’s the common answer when we respond to these greetings? okay, I’m fine thank you, Good, Great and many more…

Has anyone answered you with “SSDD!?” You asked a common greeting but he/she answered you with an “acronym.” So, what do these letters stand for?

At first, I didn’t know the real meaning of it, so I asked the person who always gives me this answer.

Boss, what is the meaning of “SSDD,” he answered “Same S+#% Different Day.” Since my blogsite is for general patronage (GP), this is my version of SSDD “Same Story Different Day.”

Most of the time, some people feel like they are standing on a plateau each day, it’s like they are riding on a ship in the middle of a lake. Their life is stagnant where everything seems the same, they’re experiencing the same story again and again. For these people the only changing going on are the days itself. It’s so sad, boring, tragic, and hopeless to have this kind of feeling.

It might be almost everything is the same each day on what we do or what we say. Simply because we are people of habit. What we need to do is to change our mindset each day on how we see and view things. As humans we are good in innovation, so try to do the things differently as long it doesn’t jeopardize the result. Think, communicate, and act differently and you will find the day to be new and bright.

Genesis 8:1

But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided.

Question: Have you felt this kind of feeling like everything is the same and you’re sick and tired of it? What helped you overcome this kind of situation? Please share your thoughts and comments below.
